Maradona is best known for his performances for Boca Juniors (1981 - 1982, 1995 - 1997), Barcelona (1982 - 1984) and Napoli (1984 - 1991).
He was also the coach of the Argentina national team from 2008 to 2010.
In 1986, playing for the national team as a striker, Maradona won the World Cup held in Mexico. He was voted the best player in that tournament.
